The Red Coats' Last Victim
She saw the red coats coming
She thought of what her mother said,
She knew this was her day.
She wanted to hide and go away...
She ran into the barn,
She thought she was safe,
"Why did it have to snow?
It is so cold" she thought.
She heard them come in
She knew they were there,
She couldn't see,
Because of her hair,
She lost her footing
They saw her,
That she knew,
She thought about her family,
And her friends too.
As the red coats surrounded her,
The room went black
She felt the pain from the past
As she is going to the place she never thought she would be at so fast.
