1970’s. Rock, to the max, man.

From the 1960s- early 70’s rock finally became popular. There were many new types of rock music out. Blues rock, with Jimi Hendrix. The 70s also started a new type of music, Metal. This included Black Sabbath, and later on Ozzy Osbourne’s solo gig. In the later 70s a whole new type of music was formed, Punk Rock, this included the Sex Pistols.
The 70s had its musical tragedies including the death of three influential rock performers; Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, and Jimi Hendrix.
